Effective Supplements

Smell the supplements that they are about to take.  If they smell good to the patient or have no apparent scent your body can probably handle it.  However, if the item smells repulsive Dr. Lendon Smith suggests that you not take it.

Now some of you may have lost your sense of smell.  I see this commonly in patients who do not have adequate circulating zinc levels.  Zinc is depleted by wheat, soy and sugar consumption.  We have a test on our webpage that you can self-administer.  The directions are easy:  take two measured droppers of zinc sulfate and hold them in your mouth for ten seconds, then swallow.  If you taste nothing; that would suggest to me that you need to avoid the above mentioned items and increase your Celtic Sea Salt®.  Continue to take two droppers a day until you taste it.

I would also suggest pumpkin and sunflower seeds added to your salad or your daily routine.  Normally you should have a bitter metal taste.  A hair analysis is a very objective way to assess many minerals in your body.  It is also available on my webpage at www.DruglessDoctor.com.

Other body signals that indicate a need for zinc would be white spots on your nails, cuts that heal slowly, memory issues, blood sugar stress and craving sugar.  I do have other body signals for other questions you may wonder about in “Dr. Bob’s Drugless Guide to Balancing Female Hormones” that can help you on your quest for optimal health.
